Happiness In A Pot

Plant enthusiast Christine, reached out to me in the midst of rebranding her plant business. Christine grows, repairs, sells, and personally delivers gorgeous plants throughout the New York City area. Recently her business has grown and with that growth came a naturalesque, elegant, personalized logo to match. The plants in this logo were created using a custom watercolor brush set in Procreate.

Newton Construction

This father son duo of Cincinnati, OH commissioned me to create a logo for their budding construction company. In this logo the 'N' is the star! I isolated this letter and re-"constructed" a.k.a hand-drew some tool elements to get the point across using Procreate.

Hyyer Magazine

Hyyer Magazine is an online publication focused on highlighting emerging artists. It was developed by its brother company Great House Vision. Not only did I create the logo for Hyyer magazine, I am its President and Editor & Chief. Alongside my team, we've spent countless months choosing just the right material and image for this online magazine. Design wise, each title and layout not only fits the theme of the subject being written about but also fits the theme of the mag as a whole - Winter. You can check out our mag here!

Artists Clocked In

The task of this commission was to create an image that portrayed how artists are always working, around the clock. The hands of the clock were drawn in Procreate. I provided the client with various color options for this logo. This particular teal-watermelon combo was not chosen but it's easily one of my favs!

Saved Enough Podcast

Client Joan "Lyric" Leslie wanted an image for her podcast that reflected both the classic ideals of the Church while also being very rooted in Urban culture. From the customized Chapel 'A' to the Timberland-filled 'E' - I thoroughly enjoyed the duality of devotion to ones faith and ones community simultaneously.

06 My Blackness Rhymes with Joy

Believe it or not, this book cover is 90% collage! I separately drew the buildings, grass, and character with marker and paper then, arranged them and photographed them. Afterwards, I added the words Black Joy, the clouded background and other text in Photoshop. Joan's book can be purchased on Amazon - here!

Horror book author, Danielle Brooks, wanted a sophisticated yet absolutely gory image to encapsulate her short story filled book. This haunting image was actually a delight to make. I even faintly lightened one of the house windows to appear as though someone inside was looking at the spine-chilling terrain below.

I'm A Big Sister

Illustrating this entire children's book was so special. Author and mom, Raven Miller, commissioned me to bring her and her daughter's lovely story of sisterhood to life. This book was illustrated using both Procreate and Photoshop. 'I Am A Big Sister' can currently be found on Amazon - here! Highly recommended purchase for someone expecting a little one.
